Community Guidelines

Simple rules for keeping UniVibe welcoming, useful, and safe.

Effective August 23, 2026

Be real

Use your own account and accurate student information. Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent affiliation, manipulate verification, or create accounts to evade enforcement.

Respect boundaries

No harassment, stalking, threats, intimidation, unwanted sexual conduct, bullying, hate speech, discrimination, or repeated contact after someone has declined, left, or blocked you.

Keep people safe

Do not organize or promote violence, exploitation, dangerous challenges, illegal drugs, weapons, self-harm encouragement, or other conduct that creates a credible risk of harm. Never share another person’s exact location or private information without permission.

Post appropriate content

No sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, graphic violence, scams, malware, spam, intellectual-property violations, or illegal goods and services. Content involving minors is subject to especially strict safety treatment.

Use plans honestly

Describe plans accurately, use an approximate public pin, and share exact meeting details only with accepted participants. Do not use plans for deceptive promotion, unauthorized sales, recruitment schemes, or attendance manipulation.

Report and block

Use in-app reporting for content or behavior that may violate these rules. Use blocking when you no longer want contact. Reports should be truthful and include only evidence relevant to the concern. Misusing reports to target someone may itself violate these rules.

Enforcement and appeals

Depending on severity and history, UniVibe may remove content, restrict features, suspend an account, or permanently ban it. Immediate action may be taken for serious safety risks. Appeal a decision by emailing support@getunivibe.app with the account email and a concise explanation.
