Terms of Use
The rules for accessing and using the UniVibe student community.
Effective August 23, 2026
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using UniVibe, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must have legal capacity to accept these Terms and satisfy the student-eligibility requirements presented during registration. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and use only your own account. Verification confirms the evidence reviewed at that time; it is not a guarantee of identity, conduct, or safety.
3. Community use
UniVibe helps students discover plans, connect with friends, and communicate. You are responsible for your interactions, content, and decisions to meet others. Use appropriate caution, meet in public places when possible, and contact local emergency services—not UniVibe—during an emergency.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant UniVibe a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical display, and show that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit it. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for limited safety or legal retention described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Prohibited conduct
Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, deceive, spam, exploit, discriminate against, or endanger others; post illegal or rights-infringing content; evade blocks or sanctions; scrape the service; probe its security; or use UniVibe for unauthorized commercial activity. The Community Guidelines provide practical examples.
6. Moderation
We may review reports and restrict, suspend, or ban accounts; limit content visibility; preserve narrowly necessary evidence; or notify authorities where required. Decisions consider available context and may not be error-free. You can appeal a moderation decision through Support.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, interrupt, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, or improve UniVibe. We will provide reasonable notice when a material change affects your rights, unless urgent action is needed.
8. Disclaimers and responsibility
UniVibe is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not control users or guarantee that profiles, plans, meetings, or messages are accurate or safe. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Ending use
You may stop using UniVibe and permanently delete your account at any time. We may close accounts that materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, subject to applicable law and available appeal procedures.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection or jurisdiction rights that apply to you.
